West Fest is a live music festival taking place June 4-5 2011 in Aghamore, near Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, for which the organisers, EBB Festivals, required a website that would reflect the energy and atmosphere of live music to help launch their inaugural year. In order to facilitate frequent updates to text and images as the festival nears, Designwest implemented a simple, user-friendly content management system that will allow the client to keep potential festival attendees up to date, as well as integrating social networking applications that help to increase exposure and awareness of the event. Designwest also created a flexible identity for the festival with the shape of a guitar pick pointing West, which can be used in the colour palette established by the website.
