With a wide range of walking and cycling trails across the county, and Mayo Co. Council wished to update their Mayo Walks site to include cycling routes, especially the new Greenways, so designwest created the new Mayo Trails website. With a comprehensive listing of trails arranged by location (north, east, south, west and central Mayo) and rated for various levels of difficulty, the site is a valuable resource for locals and tourists alike, who wish to explore the many natural landscapes Mayo has to offer. Along with standards compliant HTML, CSS and PHP, the site utilises rotating Javascript image galleries, and a simple Content Management System (CMS) allowing the client to update text and images on a regular basis.
