project: Ballycroy National Park illustration & badge design
Ballycroy National Park, with the Department for Environment Heritage and Local Government, tasked designwest to create three distinct yet visually consistent badges that could be used for various applications on printed and promotional materials. The wildlife illustrations were created in such a way as they would be clearly legible even at small sizes while maintaining as much detail as possible in the badges. The illustrations themselves were custom illustrated by designwest specifically for the brief. The results were visually impactful while being an accurate depiction of the animals and birds involved.
